Consumers, officials say, need to ensure that their card is passed through POS machines (bank-only) and not through the store's cash machines.
In an advisory published online, the bank said: "To protect your banking information, please make sure to pass your card only once at the bank's points of sale in the shops, and if you notice the employee use an additional machine for payment [not official machine] please report it to the bank immediately."
