Sayyid Asa’ad in Lebanon for Arab economic meeting

Beirut: His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan arrived here yesterday heading the Sultanate’s delegation to the 4th Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.
Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at Rafic Hariri International Airport by Lebanese President Michel Aoun; Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil; Ziad Chebib, Governor of Beirut and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League, the Lebanese Ambassador accredited to the Sultanate and the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Lebanon.
Sayyid Asa’ad was accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs; Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Bader bin Mohammed Al Mantheri, the Sultanate’s ambassador to Lebanon and a number of officials.
