Transport and Communications Minister honours Sohar Hackathon winners

Sohar: The activities of the three-day Sohar Hackathon concluded yesterday at the Oman Maritime College under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications.
The event which was organised by the partners of Smart City Platform in cooperation with Oman Global Logistics Group (Asyad) has seen the participation of twenty teams of developers, programmers, graphic designers, data experts, engineers and researchers.
The conclusion ceremony included a video presentation on the activities, programmes and field visits of Sohar Hackathon along with the announcement of the results of the three winning teams and award of the prizes.
The chief guest also honoured the participating institutions, the members of the organising committee and the other teams taking part in the event.
