Desert camps see 70 per cent occupancy rates this winter season

Muscat: Tourist camps in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah have recorded occupancy rates of 70 per cent during the winter season, the Ministry of Tourism announced.
In a statement posted online, the Ministry said, "Statistics show the occupancy during winter season at these tourist camps reached 70 per cent."
The ministry added, "The tourist camps in the Sultanate of Oman are witnessing a tourist influx from inside and outside the country as one of the major tourist products attracting great demand."
