Muscat: Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan.
According to Sheikh Al Nahyan's official Twitter account, the two sides held "official talks in Islamabad on enhancing cooperation and friendship and discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest."
The UAE embassy in Islamabad also announced a string of developmental initiatives in the country.
"The United Arab Emirates-Pakistan Assistance Program (UAE PAP) has adopted a comprehensive development plan for implementation of major development projects for the service and development of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, tribal areas and Balochistan province, as well as the capital of Islamabad."
According to a press release issued by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Phase III of the UAE PAP will consist of 40 projects implemented at a total cost of US$ 200 million and will be funded by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.
