Bangladesh students shine in Edexcel examinations

The students thanked their family and the school authorities, without who's support their success would not have been possible

Muscat: Students of Bangladesh School Muscat made their school proud by their performance in the Edexcel Examinations.

In the IGCSE, GCE and IAL Examinations the students scored a total 61 A*s and 97 A Grades in the IGCSE O Level examinations.

On an average, 99 per cent of students passed in O Levels, while 75 per cent achieved A* to C Grades.

Shah Md. Talha Tanvir Rahman, who bagged 5 A*s in the O Level examinations is the top achiever of the school. Amna Tariq, stood second position for bagging 5 A*s and 1B. Syeda Sharmin Akter and Meem stood third position jointly for bagging 4 A*s and 2 A Grades.



While expressing his pleasure Talha Tanvir said, “I am pleased with my result. I worked hard, but it is not my personal achievement. It is the outcome of our collective efforts. I express my deep gratitude to my teachers for their guidance.”

“I unassumingly acknowledge the support by my family and the school authorities without which this would not have been possible.”

Other delighted students also expressed their same feelings and thanked the school authority for their effective efforts.

Shah Md. Mizanur Rahman, delighted father of Tahla, who is teacher of BSM was happy with his ward’s result. He thanked all his colleagues and the school administration for their tremendous work.

In the GCE and IAL A Level and AS Level 1 A* and 65 A Grades were obtained in the aggregate. Anas Zaman, Gabr Nagat Gabr Abdul Hakim, Usama Rozan and Khalfan Nasir Hemed bagged 3 A’s in the AS Level, while Fabiha Akter Bhuiyan and Naima Jahan both bagged 2 A’s in the A Level Examinations.

Principal Lt Col Mahmud Ul Alam PhD (Retd) lauded the hard work of the students.

“I congratulate my students and value their efforts to make all of us happy. Results are always a collaborative effort. We all are working hard to accomplish the best results,” said the principal while commenting on this achievement.

Members of the board were also pleased with this result. Iftakher ul Hasan Chowdhury, the chairman of the board praised the students for their outstanding performance. He also thanked the teachers and urged them to inspire students to do even better in future.
