AKCT defeat Asfandyar XI to capture FRiENDi mobile Winter Cricket Cup

Muscat: The final day of the FRiENDi moblie Winter Cricket Cup organised by Jazz Boys Cricket Club saw a large turn up at the Ghubra Power Plant ground to witness the days proceedings.
The day began with cool weather and the matches too didn’t disappoint the crowd. All the matches played were fought till the last ball. The highly popular tournament is mainly sponsored by FRiENDi mobile, Danube, National Metal Cans and co-sponsored by Al Hajiry Group, Cluttons, Greefield Logistics, Oman Insecticides & Air freshner Co and The Body Shop.
The guests of honour for the gala prize distribution ceremony were Joseph Rajan, Brand Manager of FRiENDi mobile and Srikumar of Greenfield Logistics. Vinu Mathew, Jazz Boys Club - Organiser, congratulated the winners and thanked all the sponsors for their continued support. He also thanked the scorers, the umpires, the commentators and helpers for a wonderful job done and a tournament organized really well.
