Omani minister, guest of honour at Edinburgh tattoo event

His Highness Sayyid Haitham, Oman's Minister of Heritage and Culture, was guest of honour at the final Edinburgh Tattoo event in Scotland.

He was also salute taker at the event, which occurred on Saturday night.

The Royal Cavalry of the Sultanate of Oman's Pipers on horseback, with its all-female marching band, were one of the many international acts.
