Rainfall in Oman decreased by 21.6 per cent in 2017

Muscat: Rainfall in Oman has fallen by 21.6 per cent in 2017 in comparison with 2016, new data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has revealed.
In a post online, the NCSI said, "Rainfall in Oman decreased by 21.6 per cent in 2017 to an average of 74.7 mm compared to 95.3 mm in the previous year."
December registered the highest amount of rainfall during 2017 at 980.8 mm of rain, while October registered the lowest amount of rain last year at 15.6 mm of rain, NCSI revealed.
