Oman's Ministry of Commerce and Industry has destroyed more than 1,000 gas cylinders after their expiry.
A total of 1,013 cylinders were destroyed in the Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Of them, 944 cylinders were of a capacity of 22 litres, and 69 cylinders had a capacity of 44 litres.
This was done due to the expiry of their validity as per Omani standards 201/2014 regarding requirements for filling, transporting, handling and storing LPG cylinders.
