Minister of Civil Service to open Government Competency Programme

Muscat: Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service will preside, over the opening ceremony of the 3rd Government Competency Programme, organised by the Ministry of Civil Service in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration and Competence Human Resources Company.
The ceremony will be organised today at Crowne Plaza Muscat Hotel in the presence of a number of ministers, undersecretaries and officials from various state administrative units.
The programme targets the general managers and their equivalents in the state administrative apparatus, where 44 general managers from 41 units are taking part in the programme.
The programme aimed to further develop leadership skills and performance of individuals among other objectives.
