Heavy rains in Oman over the weekend: PACA

Muscat: A low-pressure system over the Sultanate is expected to bring heavy rainfall to northern parts of the country within the next three days, according to an official meteorologist.

Mohammed al Siyabi, a meteorology specialist at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation told Shabiba, Times of Oman’s sister publication, that the Sultanate is expected to see a depression form over the next three days, adding that its effects will begin on Friday morning.
This will result in heavy rains over the Al Hajar mountains, in Musandam, South and North Batinah, and possibly over Al Dhahirah.
