December 13, Thursday
Visit Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX)
The small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Oman along with numerous international jewellery brands are participating in the ninth edition of the Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX) being held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) from December 11. The exhibition is on until December 15, from 10am-11pm.

December 14, Friday
A Night of Inshad and Sufi Praise
ROHM’s evening of Inshad features renowned religious bands and highly respected performers. Al Masarra, a traditional Yemeni band, will present songs in noble praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Oman’s Al Zawiya Band will combine traditional culture with modern Inshad and Morocco’s Arhoom Al Baqali band will propagate the art of Sufism. Syrian singer, Bashar Zarqan will mesmerize with Arab poetry and Tanzanian Yahya Bihaki will present classical Arab and Sufi music. At 7pm.

December 15, Saturday
Enjoy Mountain Views
Head to the tranquil mountain of Sharaf Al Alamayn. Take the road to Nizwa and then to Al Hamra. Keep driving from Al Hamra to Hatt until you reach Sharaf Al Alamayn, the highest point in this road. Enjoy the the stunning views of the valley. A fairly easy walk will guide you along the crests of the hills with an amazing landscape all the way up.

Drive to Ibra’s Quaint Village
Known as the gateway to Oman’s eastern region, if you follow the brown signs after the souq it will lead you to the old village of Al Minzfah. Check the double archway that gives entrance to the village and walk around the mud-built two and three storey houses of ancient wealthy merchants.

One of the famous tourist valleys in the Wilayat of Dhank in the Governorate of A’Dhahirah. this valley has water throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy the lush greenery and the flowing water. One can also see rocks of various shapes and colours, including the spotless white rocks that are surrounded by high mountains.
