Catch humanoid robot 'Sophia' in Oman this month

Muscat: Humanoid robot Sophia will be in Oman on April 29 to launch the Oman Indo Global Tech Summit at Grand Hyatt Muscat.

Sophia, who was activated on April 19, 2015 made her first public appearance Austin, Texas and will now be delivering a speech addressing the attendees of the summit in Muscat. With the aim to "empower people and nations through new innovation and investment", Abrim International Consultants in collaboration with National Technology and services will be hosting a series of Oman Global Tech and Investment summits.

The summit will target key industries including block chain technology, artificial intelligence, digital marketing tools etc. The annual summit is going to be organised in many countries including Qatar, UK, and Canada but the first one will be launched in Oman this year.
