Sayyid Shihab receives Sri Lanka parliament speaker

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said received in his office here on Monday Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed the bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the friendly Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh al-Manthri, Chairman of the State Council, Dr. Said bin Mubarak Al Mahrami, Member of the State Council, Dr. Saleh bin Salim Al Rahbi, Secretary-General of the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Advisor and K. Pathmanathan, Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Sultanate.
