​Over 100 expat workers arrested in Oman

Muscat: More than 100 expat workers were arrested after they were found in violation of Oman’s Labour Law.

The Ministry of Manpower said in a statement, “In the month of November, the Muscat inspection team carried out a number of inspection campaigns in Al Mawaleh Central Market, during which 108 workers were arrested for violating the Labour Law.”

Legal action has been taken against the workers, the ministry added.
