Royal Court Affairs seeks Omani artefacts from people

Muscat: Do you have rare photos, old banknotes or coins? Then the Royal Court of Affairs wants to hear from you.
The court has asked residents to share Omani heritage and cultural items which will be presented in an exhibition - “Oman Museum: Across Ages” in Wilayat of Manah in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
“We as Royal Court Affairs announce our wish to buy and posses these historic and cultural belonging and all other masterpieces related to Oman and its civilisation. These acquisitions will be presented in “Oman Museum: across Ages” in Wilayat of Manah at Al Dakhiliyah Governorate,” Royal court Affairs said, in a statement.
They are on the hunt for traditional handicrafts, rare and old photographs, correspondences, documentations, manuscripts, traditional navigation equipment, Rhamanyat registers, old Omani banknotes and coins. Old tools used to dig and maintain Falajs, traditional and rare weapons and guns, and traditional architecture such as doors and windows are also on the list of items they would like. “Those who are willing to participate in this essential and remarkable project may send all details and specification of their acquisitions or masterpieces to “Oman Museum: Across Ages” project Director for examination and evaluation before the end of May 2018,” Royal Court of
