No injuries in fire at a waste dump in Mabella

Muscat: Fire fighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate have managed to contain fire which broke out in the waste of an under construction building in South Al Mabella, with no injury reported.
The operations centre at the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance received a call about a fire incident in South Al Mabella area. A team of fire fighters at the Civil Defence Centre and Ambulance at Al Khoudh rushed to the spot and managed to contain the fire.

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance urged landlords and contractors to observe the safety measures and immediately dispose of the wastes at construction sites in order to avoid loss of lives and property.
