An exhibition by a group of amateur photographers is giving a new insight into Oman’s majestic landscapes, culture and heritage. Organised by Friday Shoot Out-Muscat ( FSO) and held at the Crowne Plaza Muscat next to the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the exhibition titled ‘Ayoon Oman’ offers visuals of wildlife, festivals, and Oman’s natural wonders. The exhibition aims to a put a spotlight on the different places in Oman that are now attracting tourists. Friday Shoot Out member Natalie said, “I’m really proud to be part of Friday Shoot Out. I’ve learned so much about photography, the different genres, how to use natural light and some processing skills.” Natalie, who has her work featured in the exhibition, said that she was very proud to see her photographs being admired by others. “Being a member of FSO has allowed me to travel across the country and through these events, share my experiences with others. My favourite moment from the exhibition was when we, the photographers, took a pause to appreciate our work,” she said.
Visitors described the many images of Oman as an ‘inspiration’.
