Dr. Rawya briefed on Muscat university

Muscat: Dr. Rawya bint Saud Al Busaidiyah, Minister of Higher Education visited, yesterday, Muscat University to acquaint with the latest developments at the University and its future plans and projects.
During the visit, she met with Dr. Yusra Mouzughi, Vice Chancellor of Muscat University who briefed the minister on the university and its programmes and the major agreements the university has entered into with other parties on development of its services, utilities and academic syllabus. Dr. Rawya also met deans of the colleges and heads of the academic departments.
During the visit, Dr. Rawya was accompanied by Jokha bint Abdullah Al Shekaili, Assistant Director General of Private Colleges and Universities; Dr. Hamad Khalfan Al Harthi, Assistant Director General for Scholarships Affairs and Dr. Maya Al Habsi, Director, Information Department at the Ministry.
