Video: Muscat to link 'East to West' with new airport — Transport minister

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, dedicated the celebration of the inauguration of the new Muscat International Airport to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
In a statement online, Al Futaisi said, "Quoting His Majesty's words, we celebrated the inauguration of Muscat International Airport: I wish to look onto the map of the world and be unable to find a country that is not linked to Oman in friendship."
The minister added, "We dedicate this structure to you, Your Majesty, as an aerial bridge that links East to West and a modern gate that we can we can welcome the world to the Sultanate of Oman with, full of pride."
