Problems solved, says Mendis from Mohali

MUSCAT: Oman national cricket team coach Duleep Mendis speaking from Mohali confirmed that certain problems faced by some of the players have been solved.
According to media reports in India, members of Oman's cricket team faced some problems on their arrival in India ahead of the ICC World T20 due to a visa mix-up.
It was learnt that nine players of the Oman team were for some time not able to stay with other members in Chandigarh.
Oman has reached India after the Asia Cup qualifiers for the World T20 which will be held from March 8 to April 3.
According to reports Oman were booked to stay in a Chandigarh hotel, but for 'some' players visa was stamped only for Mohali, a neighouring city, which meant those players could not stay in Chandigarh.
It was also learnt that Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stepped in to put these players in the stadium clubhouse.
However, Duleep Mendis in his comment to Times Sport, said: "It was just a minor issue and all the players are together now."
He reiterated that all is fine and the players are fine.
"We are focussed on the warm-ups and preparing hard for the World T20 matches," he added.
Oman is scheduled to play two warm-up matches in Mohali on March 4 and 6.
The team will then travel to Dharamsala for the World T20 preliminary round.
