Committee formed for Sultan Qaboos Award for Craft Excellence Competition

Muscat: Sheikha Aisha bint Khalfan Al Siybiyah, chairperson of the Public Authority for Craft Industries ( PACI) has issued a decision forming committee and action teams of the Sultan Qaboos Award for Craft Excellence Competition 2017-2018. The decision also included the prerogatives of the committees and action teams.
The decision also led to the formation of coordination and follow up committee and the mechanisms for formation of action teams.
The Regulation of the Sultan Qaboos Award for Craft Excellence stipulated the formation of main committee of the competition by a decision from the chairperson of PACI and membership of deputy to the chairperson of PACI as vice chair of the main committee, director of the office of PACI chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Research Council, the SQU and director general of crafts industries.
