New app that makes roads safer launched

A new safety app — ‘SafeTakaful’ — has been launched in Oman for the first time by an insurer.

Developed by Takaful Oman, the app is designed to make the Sultanate’s roads safer by recording the driving pattern of users.

It will also monitor their speed, acceleration, mileage and phone usage while driving.

The ‘SafeTakaful’ app is now available on both- Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
