Kochi: An-Air India Express flight from Dubai to Calicut with 184 passengers, two pilots and six crew members, crashed after overshooting the runway on Friday evening.
Two people, including the pilot, have lost their lives so far and over 40 have been injured in the incident. The plane broke into two parts after the crash and fell into the valley. The front five rows are reportedly badly damaged in the accident.
Fire tenders and ambulances were rushed to the spot to take the injured to the hospital. Rescue operations are underway.
