Heavy rains lash parts of Oman

Muscat: Some parts of the Sultanate witnessed heavy rains and active winds, Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

Heavy rains accompanied by active winds continued in Al Hajar mountains, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Dhahirah in Oman, Oman Meteorology has said.

The General Directorate of Meteorology said, "Cloudy formations activity on Al Hajar Mountains with fall of heavy rain on Al Hajar mountains areas, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Dhahirah, in addition to some formations that also active on the Dhofar desert, with fall of rain."
