His Majesty receives Eid Al Adha greetings from Majlis Al Shura Chairman

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received a cable of greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser al-Ma'awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura, reading as follows:

May the Almighty Allah protect you!

Amid the splendor of these blessed days and in the sacrosanct sphere of Dhul-Hijjah, I am honoured to convey to Your Majesty, on behalf of myself and on behalf of members and employees of Majlis A'Shura, the best expressions of greeting, along with the most sincere sentiments and wishes that this Eid will find you in good health and happiness.

The Majlis A'Shura hails, with deserved pride and delight, the efforts being undertaken by Your Majesty's government in addressing a variety of extremely pressing issues pertaining to economic conditions, as well as the handling of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. This attention manifests itself in procedures taken to overcome the crises. The Majlis A'Shura also values the cooperation of citizens and residents to curb the spread of the disease.

Your Majesty,

We pray to the Almighty Allah to guard you safe and sound under His divine care and to bestow His bounties upon you as a precious resource for the people of this dear homeland.

We pray that this happy occasion will come over and over again and find Your Majesty in good health, wellbeing and happiness.
