Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Wednesday received cables of greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuomani, Minister of the Royal Office, Lt. Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shariqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs and Lt. General Saeed bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of Internal Security Service (ISS).
Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, said:
Your Majesty, Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Supreme Commander. May the Almighty Allah protect you! Peace be upon you.
Upon the dawn of the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, all Muslims will rejoice as they celebrate the happy occasion of Eid Al Adha.
On this sacred religious occasion, I am honoured—and so are Your Majesty’s triumphant Armed Forces, the Firaq Forces and all personnel of the Ministry of Defence—to extend to Your Majesty the most heartfelt expressions of greetings and best wishes of blessings, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect you as Sultan and leader of this dear homeland and to grant you good health and wellbeing.
Your Majesty, Celebration of this religious occasion evokes many lessons, and Your Majesty’s Armed Forces derive examples from the days of Great Pilgrimage—concepts of patience, loyalty hard work and sacrifice that they adopt in their firm resolve to protect this resourceful country, its edifices and its achievements.
Your Majesty, the Supreme Commander,
As they celebrate this occasion, Your Armed Forces, Firaq Forces and all personnel of the Ministry of Defence proclaim their allegiance to Your Majesty and renew the pledge of loyalty and self-denial. They pray to the Almighty Allah to bestow His full bounty on Your Majesty and grant you good health and a long life.
May Allah protect Your Majesty and support you with absolute victory! May He bless your reign!

Your Majesty, As our dear homeland Oman celebrate alongside the Arab and Islamic nations the advent of Eid Al Adha, I am honoured to extend to Your Majesty, in the name of all security services, the most sincere greetings and sentiments, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant you good health and happiness and to have this occasion and similar occasions return, for many years to come, and find Your Majesty adorned in glory and grandeur—with Oman and its loyal people enjoying bounty, security and prosperity under Your Majesty’s wise leadership.
The days of Your Majesty’s magnificent reign unfold graciously under the divine guardianship of the Almighty Allah and amid manifestations of love and allegiance from your loyal people. The religious events of our Islamic history reaffirm that hardships and difficulties are the fate of great nations and that victory and success remain aspirations of their epic parades, which cannot be realized without earnest efforts and sacrifices.
Nations make progress confidently and overcome predicaments through the collaboration of their offspring and by rallying around their leaderships, with full conviction in the wisdom of these leaderships and with trust in the perseverance of their troops in every sphere of action.

The Almighty Allah endowed Oman with many riches and plentiful bounties, the most evident of which is your insightful vision and prudent leadership, evinced in your consolidation of principles of security, peace, ardent and constructive work aimed to secure a prosperous future for Oman and to safeguard the accomplishments of its glorious history—in preservation of your ancestors, Sultans of Oman. Your Majesty has thus shielded the edifices of security and enshrined their intactness under your noble patronage, so that security remains the objective of nations and justice the mainstay of rule and authority—all but for the sake of human happiness.
Your Majesty, the Supreme Commander
On behalf of Your Majesty’s lofty Royal Office and your Royal guard and fortified castle, the Special Force, we all rally as a uniform column to reiterate to Your Majesty our allegiance and our vow of sacrifice under Your Majesty’s leadership, acting in cooperation with all civil and military sectors to realize your Royal pledge to the loyal people of Oman.
We all pray to the Almighty Allah to protect Your Majesty and guard you, under His divine care, as a great Sultan, prudent leader and kind father. We pray to the Almighty Allah to grant you success in all your endeavors to promote Oman’s status and sustain its security, stability, progress and prosperity.

It is prime time we thanked the Almighty Allah for placing Oman, since antiquity, in the hands of most the magnificent of men, till its helm has been passed on to Your Majesty, as pure and as glorious as can be.

The Almighty Allah has predestined Eid Al Adha as testimony to the values of sacrifice and self-denial, a precursor of purge from every dilemma and relief from every enigma. Oman, God willing, will regain its full wellbeing and it will remain, under Your Majesty’s model approach, an oasis of peace and prosperity.

We, in your trustworthy Security Service, are honoured to salute Your Majesty on this occasion and to reiterate our vow of allegiance, pledging to remain truthful to our national duty; our wills will kindle and not dwindle; our quest is to meet your satisfaction and gain your Royal confidence.

Our dear homeland Oman is celebrating Eid Al Adha this year, but has been the Almighty’s will that a global pandemic prevails in many countries, including the Sultanate. The pandemic's impacts dictated a calculated compromise between pursuing requirements of life and maintaining precautions of health and safety. The great attention accorded by Your Majesty to your people and your Royal directives to utilize all resources and efforts (towards the protection of the population) have alleviated the impacts of this pandemic and facilitated life, thanks be to the Almighty Allah mercy of his beings.

As they shoulder their responsibility of establishing security, the personnel of the ROP have mobilized all their capabilities, unlocked their full potential and stayed vigilant to implement preventive measures against the spread of the disease, working side by side with their counterparts in other sectors, to secure Omani people’s health and safety.
May the Almighty Allah protect Your Majesty, the Sultanate and its noble people!
May He eternalize His plentiful bounties on all!
