ODB grants loans worth OMR5.1 million

Muscat: Oman Development Bank (ODB) has managed to grant 2,900 loans worth OMR5.1 million to the beneficiaries of the emergency loan programme within four weeks.
ODB finalised procedures related to more than 1,800 applications having a total value of OMR3.8 million. Cashed loans stood at 995 applications, worth more than OMR2.1 million, while work is underway to endorse payment for about OMR1.7 million in favour of projects benefiting from the above-mentioned programme.
The ODB is continuously processing applications and streamlining procedures for speeding finalisation of the applications. The approach reflects the ODB’s understanding of the conditions of projects under the current circumstances.
