Are your children at the risk of COVID-19 infection?

Muscat: A serological survey of COVID-19 will be conducted to study the situation of at-risk children, an official from the Ministry of Health announced.

Dr. Amal bint Saif Al Maani, Director of Infection Prevention and Control in the Ministry of Health said, ”The National Serological Survey of COVID- 19 Infection will study the situation of children at risk of infection and measure the effectiveness of their antibodies.”

She also said, ”It will provide indicators on the prevalence of coronavirus in the Sultanate and it will verify the validity of the infection of 1% of the population, those infected and those with no symptoms.”

“It will determine the possibility of returning to schools or implementing distance learning methods,” she added.
