Muscat: Oman Oasis, the nation’s leading bottled water brand, produced and distributed by Oasis Water Company, recently received the coveted certificate of membership from the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA).
The Oasis Water Company plants in Rusayl, as well as the Al Muzn Water Company in Salalah, are now certified members of the IBWA.
IBWA unifies the bottled water industry and represents an uncompromising commitment to the safety and availability of bottled water worldwide. Founded in the US in 1958, IBWA's member companies include the US and international bottlers, distributors, and suppliers. The IBWA is the authoritative source of information about all types of bottled waters. Oman Oasis has earned the certificate through continuous efforts in adhering and maintaining the international standards and regulations throughout its value chain at all times.

International member companies also have access to multiple promotional and networking opportunities with other bottled water professionals. IBWA works with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), following stringent standards for safe, high-quality bottled water products. IBWA also requires member bottlers to adhere to the IBWA Bottled Water Code of Practice, which mandates additional standards and practices.
