Illegal cigarette storage site raided in Oman

Muscat: A site in South Al Batinah Governorate, used by expatriates to store illegal cigarettes, has been raided.

A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "The Investigation and Risk Assessment Department, in cooperation with the Rustaq Task Unit, raided a site in the South Al Batinah Governorate that was used by expatriate workers to store and distribute large quantities of restricted and prohibited cigarettes."
