Saudi Arabia announces health protocols for Haj

Muscat: Saudia Arabia has announced health protocols for the Haj season for the year 1441 AH.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "Saudi Arabia announces health protocols for the prevention of Covid-19 disease for the Haj season this year 1441 AH, which will cover all movements of pilgrims during the pilgrimage, from their arrival in the Holy Land to the completion of the ritual performance and their return to their homes."

"The protocols include the most important guidelines related to housing pilgrims during the performance of rituals, throwing stones, the scheduling of their pilgrimage to the Tawaf, Arafa and Muzdalifah. Also the controls for men's barber shops and pilgrim buses."

"After the Hajj trip, everyone's health will be monitored for two weeks," the statement added.
