Khimji’s House of Travel facilitates commercial charter flight for KMCC Salalah

Muscat: Khimji’s House of Travel along with SpiceJet operated their first flight for the Kerala Muslim Cultural Center (KMCC) on June 18. The flight took off from Salalah to the city of Calicut in the South Indian state of Kerala.
Nasser Perighathoor, President KMCC said, "Most of the requests received are from people who had overstayed their visas, expectant mothers or those requiring other immediate medical attention. We are happy that we were able to extend support and help promptly."
Cashio Vettom, GM – Khimji’s House of Travel said, “Last Thursday, we successfully managed the departure of our first commercial charter from Salalah. Almost 175 passengers were able to fly back home and we are happy to have been a part of the process. I would also like to thank the Indian Embassy, the KMCC Salalah wing and SpiceJet for the support and for being the driving force behind the evacuation. We are working on additional flights to accommodate demand.”
Khimji’s House of Travel has dedicated a team to focus only on requests from clients wishing to travel home due to various critical situations. All queries are handled with the utmost care, with the safety of the clients being the priority. In addition to the flights, the passengers are also offered the option to book quarantine hotels in the city of arrival, to try to ease their stress of having to find quarantine accommodation on landing. The team also caters to requests for private jets for destinations around the world.
For all queries, Khimji’s House of Travel has placed a registration form on their website along with emergency numbers through which clients can fill in their details and a dedicated facilitator will get in touch with the passenger within two hours.
