Two expats arrested on drug charges in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two expats on charges of possession and trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

A statement issued online by the ROP said, "The South Al-Batinah Police Command arrested two people of Asian nationality for infiltration across the sea and possession of 28 kg of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, with the intention of trafficking them. Legal measures are being completed in this matter."
