Manpower ministry tells cleaning services providers to follow procedures

Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower has asked cleaning services providers in the private sector to follow the procedures and measures mandated by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
A government statement issued online said: "The Ministry of Manpower recommends the private sector institutions that provide their services to the public and private institutions, cleaning services, the necessity to follow the procedures and measures issued by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of the disease and that would reduce the risk of an epidemic in the institution."
"The cases suspected of being infected should be reported and directed to the nearest health institution to receive the necessary medical care,” the statement added.
The recommendation comes in the framework of directives from the competent authorities in the Sultanate to implement the highest precautionary standards to limit the impact of the emerging coronavirus and prevent its spread, and strengthen preventive measures to provide protection to citizens and residents.
