Tropical storm Nisarga evolves in the Arabian Sea

Muscat: The deep tropical depression in the Arabian sea has evolved into a tropical storm called Nisarga.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement, "The deep tropical depression has evolved into a tropical storm called Nisarga with wind speeds around the centre estimated between (35-45) knots with its continued movement towards the northeast in the direction of the Indian coast."

According to Alert 1 issued by Public Authority of Civil Aviation, early indications show that the depression will track to the north toward the Indian and the Pakistan coast with no effect on the Sultanate coast in the next three days.
