Repatriation flights to Pakistan continue

Muscat: Repatriation flights to Pakistan continued, as two special flights departed for Lahore on Monday, June 1, 2020.
According to the Embassy of Pakistan in Oman, the flights were arranged by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and carried nearly 300 passengers in total
“PIA’s special flight departed from the Muscat International Airport for Lahore carrying 142 passengers,” said an embassy statement. “Passengers were seen off by the Pakistan Embassy representatives. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Omani authorities and PIA for helping us with the smooth repatriation of Pakistani nationals in the Sultanate.”
The embassy added: "Another PIA special flight departed Muscat for Lahore, carrying 144 stranded passengers. Passengers were seen off by the ambassador of Pakistan to Oman. Our deep appreciation to PIA and the Omani authorities for their support in repatriation of Pakistani nationals to join their loved ones.”
