Some roads closed in Dhofar due to tropical depression

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced the closure of some roads for traffic on some roads in Dhofar governorate due to the increase in intensity of the rains.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Traffic has been stopped on Mirbat-Sadah road due to torrential rains which have damaged the road. Also Raysut-Mughsail road has closed because of the flow of water in Adounab Valley."

Additionally, on Sunday evening, the ROP also announced interruption of traffic on the Hasik - Al Shuwaymiyeh road due to falling rocks and soil.
