Clear skies predicted over most parts of Oman

Muscat: Most parts of the Sultanate will have clear and partially clear skies today, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.

In its weather forecast, PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of convective clouds formation over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas toward afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along coastal areas of Arabian sea.”

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 43 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees in Muscat, 32 degrees and 26 degrees in Salalah, 41 degrees and 32 degrees in Khasab, 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Sohar, 44 degrees and 33 degrees in Sur, 38 degrees and 28 degrees in Masirah, 42 degrees and 29 in Rustaq, 42 degrees and 28 degrees in Buraimi, 42 degrees and 30 in Ibri, 42 degrees and 30 degrees in Nizwa and 45 degrees and 26 in Haima.”

The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Friday is 45 degrees in Fahood, wilayat of Haima, and wilayat of Suwaiq, the lowest is 17 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
