Illegal tailor shop raided in Oman

Muscat: Inspection teams raided a house used illegally to run a tailoring service in the wilayat of Barak.

South Al Batinah Municipality said in a statement: "Barka municipality raided a house used illegally by expat workers for tailoring dresses."

The inspection team confiscated the material used at the site and legal procedures against the accused are underway.

Meanwhile, Shinas municipality in North Al Batinah raided and closed 3 sewing shops for not confirming to the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.
