Majority of COVID-19 cases in Oman in Muscat governorate

Muscat: A majority of the COVID-19 cases registered in the Sultanate are from Muscat governorate, a look at the numbers published by the Ministry of Health's application Tarassud has shown.

This amounts to 857 cases or 80.16% of the total number of cases. At last count, Muscat Governorate had 733 active cases, 119 cases who recovered and 5 deaths.

North Al Batinah governorate recorded 36 cases with 19 recoveries while South Al Sharqiyah recorded 15 active cases.

Al Dakhiliyah saw 54 active cases with 21 recoveries.

Across the Sultanate, the total number of cases is 1,069 out of which 888 are active cases, 176 have recovered and 5 have died.
