Muscat continues to have highest number of COVID-19 cases in Oman

Muscat: The majority of COVID-19 cases recorded in Oman are in Muscat Governorate, which has 293 cases.
Among these, 262 patients were still reportedly sick, while a further 29 had recovered, and two had died from the illness. The data was taken from Tarassud, the Ministry of Health’s official app to monitor COVID-19 updates.
North Al Batinah currently has five patients still suffering from the disease, of a total of 22 confirmed cases. The other 17 have recovered, while South Batinah has another 16 cases, of which four have recovered, while 12 still have the illness.
Two of the three cases in the Dhahirah Governorate have recovered, while the Dakhiliyah Governorate has another 23 cases, 13 of whom have recovered, while 10 people remain infected. South Al Sharqiyah Governorate has recorded one confirmed coronavirus case, and one case of recovery, while in North Al Sharqiyah, there is one confirmed case of COVID-19, while another patient has presented with the symptoms of the disease, and is currently undergoing tests to see if he has it.
In the southern Dhofar Governorate, a total of eight cases have been recorded. One patient has recovered, while the other seven are undergoing treatment, while in the northern Governorate of Musandam, there have been a total of three reported cases.
In total, there are so far 371 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Oman. Of these, 302 patients still have the disease, while another 67 have recovered. Two people have succumbed to COVID-19 and have passed away.
