MSM index ends marginally lower

Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 lost 3.12 points, comprising a decline by 0.092 per cent to close at 3397.82 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3400.94 points.
The trading value stood at OMR718,126, comprising a rise by 70.07 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR422,245.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.081 per cent to reach about OMR18.05 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR147,000, comprising 20.50 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR314,000) comprising 43.78 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 23.27 per cent to OMR167,000.
