Muttrah residents hail efforts to limit COVID-19 spread

Muscat: Citizens and residents of the Wilayat of Muttrah have expressed their appreciation for the tremendous efforts of the government in addressing COVID-19 developments and measures taken to limit the spread of COVID 19.

They also praised the precautionary measures announced by the Supreme Committee tasked with the mechanism to address the developments of COVID-19, including the full isolation of the Wilayat of Muttrah and the support extended to the Wilayat.
Dr Said bin Salim Al Wahaibi, Member of Majlis Al Shura representing the Wilayat of Muttrah, expressed appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and the government for measures taken to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
On the issuance of instructions of isolation in the Wilayat of Muttrah, he said that it has been made in coordination with the Wali of Muttrah, Muttrah Charitable Team and Al Rahma Association for distribution of food parcels in the Wilayat of Muttrah.
Dr Tahira bint Abdulkhaliq Al Lawati, member of Majlis Al Shura representing the Wilayat of Muttrah also expressed her appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik who has employed all his resources in combating COVID-19 pandemic. She also hailed the efforts of the Government, the Ministry of Social Development , Office of Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, the Wali of Muttrah and the charitable teams and associations.
