The Ministry of Education has clarified its decision to issue general diploma certificates for students who have cleared grade 12.
This will be done instead of the general education certificate, issued since 2009.
"The decision is about the name of certificates for grade12 students, and is for qualification name only and has nothing to do with this academic year or the coronavirus.” - Ministry of Education
