Clear skies forecast over most parts of Oman

Muscat: Most parts of the Sultanate will have clear and partially clear skies on Saturday. There is isolated rain forecast over the governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.

In a weather forecast, PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with high to medium clouds advection. Chances of cloud formation and isolated rain over Al Hajer Mountains toward afternoon and chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar.”

A statement issued online by PACA said: “The aerial photograph shows the flow of clouds over parts of the northern governorates, as fog and low clouds spread over parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.”

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures is 28 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees in Muscat, 31 degrees and 26 degrees in Salalah, 32 degrees and 24 degrees in Khasab, 31 degrees and 22 degrees in Sohar, 34 degrees and 24 degrees in Sur, 35 degrees and 21 degrees in Nizwa, 35 degrees and 23 degrees in Ibri and 36 degrees and 22 degrees in Buraimi.

The Oman News Agency (ONA), stated: “The highest temperature expected on Saturday is 36 degrees in Haima in Al Wusta governorate and Fahood in Al Dhahirah governorate, and the lowest is 12 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
