A statement, signed by Salim Hamed Said Al Husaini, the Director of Air Transport at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), said there would be a “ban on entry of all non-Omanis to the Sultanate’s territories via all of the Sultanate’s Airports, except the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and passengers who hold of resident visas.”

Transit passengers are also allowed to travel through Oman’s airports.

There will be an “implementation of all public health measures on all aircraft crew at the airports, ensuring compliance with all Ministry of Health air carrier guidelines,” according to PACA. “Passengers transferring from international to domestic flights through any of Oman’s airports would be subjected to public health measures, and mechanisms of ensuring compliance must be agreed between the airports, the airlines, and the Ministry of Health, which shall ensure strict conformance with the health procedures.”
