Italian tourist trips to Oman suspended to prevent COVID-19 spread

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has suspended Italian tourist trips to Salalah Airport, while maintaining the operations of Omani flights between Milan and Muscat for the use of Omanis and for the Italian passengers to return to their country.

In a statement PACA said: “After coordination with the competent authorities, it is decided to suspend Italian tourist trips to Salalah airport starting from March 1 for a month."

“(Will) maintain Omani flights between Milan and Muscat for Omanis and for the transferred passengers only with confirmation that all necessary precautions are taken to limit the spread of Coronavirus infection,” the Authority added.
