Muscat: The Republic of Kuwait has announced that it would temporarily suspend entry into Kuwait by civil card and has asked travellers to use their passports.

The Embassy of Oman in Kuwait notified that the Kuwaiti authorities had decided to temporarily suspend entry to its lands with a civil card for its citizens and citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

“The only transportation document valid is the passport, until further notice from the concerned authorities in the state,” the embassy said.
